What’s new in Menus Uncomplicated

The bigger features and improvements, newest first. Each entry is tied to the app version it shipped in. Routine fixes and maintenance aren’t listed. Menus moves in small steps, so this list is short by design.

More reliable category refresh (v2.12.29, May 2026)

Refreshes no longer fail on stores that are password-protected or whose storefront briefly returns a Shopify error page; the app now detects these cases and retries instead of stopping with an error.

Icons on a top-level menu item’s own page (v2.12.1, April 2026)

When a top-level menu item is itself a collection with children, its category icons now also appear on that top-level page, not only on the pages of its sub-items.

Faster, more stable admin (v2.11.0, March 2026)

The category card and admin layout were reworked to load sooner and stop shifting as the page settles, improving page-speed scores.

Rebuilt on Shopify’s modern admin components (v2.10.26, January 2026)

The in-app screens were migrated to Shopify Polaris Web Components, so the admin is faster, more stable, and matches the current Shopify look and feel.
