This page states, in plain terms, what each live Uncomplicated Shopify app is, what it costs and what it does not do. Prices are in US dollars, billed through Shopify.

Who makes the apps

  • The apps are published as Uncomplicated and are owned and operated by Zoom Buzz Ltd. Registered office: Alma House, Wibtoft, Lutterworth, LEICS, LE17 5BE, UK.
  • They are built and maintained by Alex Stanhope, a technical architect based in Leeds, UK.
  • Every app is installed from the Shopify App Store. Support is a click away on each app’s App Store page (“Get Support”), or through the contact page.
  • Shopify is the platform operator: billing, installation and uninstallation all happen through Shopify.

Categories Uncomplicated

  • What it does: builds multi-level categories and sub-categories from the navigation menus you already maintain in Shopify. On collection and product pages it shows sub-category drill-down icons and category-based breadcrumbs, and it adds BreadcrumbList JSON-LD for search engines.
  • Cost: Free for up to 10 categories. Pro is $10 per month for unlimited categories, with a 10-day free trial.
  • What it does not do: it does not need a separate category structure, because it reads your existing Shopify menus. The Free plan does not go beyond 10 categories.
  • Languages: the app’s admin is in English, Spanish, German and French; the storefront follows any language your store supports through Shopify Translate & Adapt.

  • What it does: shows complete category-based breadcrumbs on collection and product pages, generated from your existing Shopify menus and rendered on the server as HTML, with BreadcrumbList JSON-LD. Drag-and-drop in 2.0 themes; embed code for older 1.0 themes. Supports long-form URLs, and short-form URLs with metafields.
  • Cost: $5 per month, with a 10-day free trial. Breadcrumbs are also included in Categories Uncomplicated, which has a Free plan.
  • What it does not do: it does not need a separate category structure or a theme rebuild. Older 1.0 themes need an embed code added by hand rather than drag-and-drop.
  • Languages: the app’s admin is in English, Spanish, German and French; the storefront follows any language your store supports through Shopify Translate & Adapt.

Zoomy Collections Uncomplicated

  • What it does: adds a zooming, high-resolution slideshow of your product images to every collection page, built from the products and images already in your Shopify collections. Each image links to its product. It is placed with the Shopify Theme Editor and is mobile-responsive.
  • Cost: Free for up to 50 collections. Pro is $9 per month for unlimited collections, with no trial.
  • What it does not do: it does not need new images uploaded or a second set of content to maintain, and it needs no code. The Free plan does not go beyond 50 collections.
  • Languages: the app’s admin is in English, Spanish, German and French; the storefront follows any language your store supports through Shopify Translate & Adapt.
  • App Store page, help, FAQ
  • What it does: turns your existing Shopify navigation menus into a mega menu with flyout, full-width or simple dropdown styles, item images and NEW/HOT/SALE badges, with no code.
  • Cost: Free for up to 10 menu items. Pro is $6 per month for unlimited menu items, with no trial. Merchants who subscribed to the earlier $5 Basic plan stay on it.
  • What it does not do: it does not ask you to recreate your menus or write HTML, CSS or Liquid. If you uninstall it, your menus stay in Shopify. Its admin is in English only, although the storefront menu follows any language your store supports through Shopify Translate & Adapt.

ShopyCopySync

  • What it does: copies content from one Shopify store to another on demand: products, collections (including smart-collection rules), pages, blogs and articles, navigation menus, metaobject definitions and metaobjects. Content is copied in dependency order. You choose Skip (leave existing target content untouched) or Overwrite (update it to match the source). The target store can undo a sync with Reset synced content.
  • Cost: Free, with one-off copies and no cap. Pro is $10 per month and adds continuous automatic sync; there is no trial. Continuous sync is also free on a development store’s Development Store plan.
  • What it does not do: it does not copy anything without the target store’s approval, and it needs the app installed on both stores. It does not copy deletions, so an item deleted on the source stays on the target until you remove it. Continuous sync does not cover metaobject definitions, which are copied on demand only, and it is not part of the Free plan.
  • Languages: the app’s admin is in English, Spanish, German and French; copied content keeps its own language and metafields.
